A day of family recreation is only a bike ride and a trail away. Bike riding is a fun way to get the family out of the house and into the bountiful nature that surrounds Atlanta.
Many trails throughout the metro area are paved and ideal for riding in family style. At the top of the list of family favorites is the The Silver Comet Trail which travels more than 60 miles across three counties.
Along the trail, there are natural settings, restaurants, parks and awe-inspiring spots like the Pumpkinvine Creek Trestle. It stands 126 feet high and is 750 feet long.
The 20 plus trailheads are accessible in Cobb, Paulding and Polk counties.
